So we decided to leave at around 7 in the evening. Preeti somehow got permission from her home.
Hey Preeti, how come you managed to took permission from home? I asked her giving a very confused look.
Sid, its my love for Ganesh that made me with him tonight. As soon she said this Ganesh almost reached 7th sky.
Sparks inside me started fuming as I am now missing a girl in my life. What a life is yours looser? I asked myself.
Nobody’s there to ever think about you. When at home, parents play the role of some detectives. Asking a hell lot of questions, the one even I don’t know there answers. I’m surely a looser.

Now what to do? Preeti said looking scared.
I guess we should send Preeti on bus.

For next 2 days, I became too busy at my training that I almost forget what I planned for Preeti and Ganesh patch up.
Hey Sid, why Ganesh and Preeti won’t came to office from last two days? One of our boss asked me like he’s scolding me because of them.
I don’t know, sir. I said.
What you don’t know? He asked me again. This time in less arrogant manner. Tell them this is not a college. They can get fired with this casual behavior.
Fired? Soon the bells start ringing in my mind. Whoa, this word I have heard thousands of times in movies, but this time I was listening from some professional. I was just hoping that Ganesh and Preeti should take more holidays.

Before going back home, I called Ganesh and Preeti from office to fix their love story.
They both agreed like they were just waiting for my phone call. I took a sigh of relief and went back home.

It was really difficult to spend my first night alone without anyone. Though, now I have to manage this way only. I can’t believe that now I’m missing my morning breakfast of hostel, which I used to hate like hell.
The next day, we had to make our presence in the company. Our company is situated in IT Park, Chandigarh and deals in Software Business. Me, Ganesh and Preeti got to reach there at 11 am, and we did.

It was really difficult to spend my first night alone without anyone. Though, now I have to manage this way only. I can’t believe that now I’m missing my morning breakfast of hostel, which I used to hate like hell.
The next day, we had to make our presence in the company. Our company is situated in IT Park, Chandigarh and deals in Software Business. Me, Ganesh and Preeti got to reach there at 11 am, and we did.
Bro, that’s our future! I said to Ganesh as he looks bit confused.
Hey Ganesh, why are you confused? It’s your choice and now Preeti is also with us.
Yeah, okay Sid, it’s not a Preeti case, but I’m not going to sit in front of computer for 8-10 hours. It’s not my call. Ganesh said as he already declared that he lost the war!

We were introduced with some of their employees who will make us work no matter what! They seem to be very professional, having business ethics. Thanks to Ganesh who made it possible for me in this company. I already started dreaming to be one of them.
We finished our training lessons and thought to spend some time together. We went to Gopal Sweets and had our lunch.
As Ganesh mind was quite innovative, he immediately decide to have our desserts at my flat.

We sat on bed and started playing stupid games. The games we played were so stupid that if some other person would see will definitely burst in laugh. Then also, we were playing.

CHAPTER 11
After the vacation, I returned to Chandigarh from Delhi for our joining in a company. I reached by train 1 hour late. Ganesh came to station to pick me up!
Hey Sid, you’re late man.
I’m not late, Ganesh. Train’s late.
Yeah, whatever, Ganesh said in an arrogant tone.
We hired an auto rickshaw to his house. So wassup Ganesh, how’s Preeti? I asked in an excitement.
Nothing Sid, she’s fine. Just used to talk a couple of time in a day!
Hey, you seem like a dejected soul, Ganesh? Any fighting with Preeti?
Nah dude, nothing like that.
Then what happened? Why seems dejected?
I told my relationship status to Dev, and he yelled at me. He said to choose either me or Preeti.
What the Fuck! How come Dev decide your destiny Ganesh. I said while thinking that is Dev a gay?
As we reached home, “as his home remembers me of the hostel room”, I extend my greetings to his mom and dad. While his mom was busy preparing the dinner for us, his dad was not sure for me to living either with them or somewhere else.
So Sid, what’s your plan? Ganesh’s dad asked me sarcastically. Uncle, tomorrow I’m going to find a room for myself.
It seems that Ganesh’s dad took a sigh of relief, as he interrupted me and asked me question with lot of energy came from God knows where.
Sid, I mean what’s your future plans, your marriage, your job, you starting your family and almost asked lots of things.
Don’t know uncle. That’s what I have given one simple answer.
Uncle looks again to me with sarcasm and continue eating the food.
I really don’t want to stay with Ganesh as the torture of Zinda ho song still ripples my brain, but to my surprise he hasn’t done anything like that. Thank God as I went to sleep.
As I went to sleep, I noticed Ganesh whispering something something on phone. After some seconds he got more cleared and to my guess he was talking with Preeti.
I ignore his gossip and again tried to sleep. But, to my surprise Ganesh became more louder and started discussing about the future plans.
Is he nerd, I thought as my sleep almost vanishes away.
The conversation was so romantic, that I could have started crying like a baby.
After an hour about discussing their future plans, the gossip become hotter and hotter, as they were now discussing some biological aspect of a women.
I heard Ganesh asking a series of question like a reporter. God, the questions were so hot and crazy that I really want to jump into the phone to know their answers, but to my disguise, I couldn’t.
The one question that really drives me crazy is, “Can women produce the milk without giving birth to a kid”! I
really want to know the situation of Preeti, but she seems to be equally enjoying.
The next day, I was planned to move to a flat which I had taken on rent. There were two rooms with attached bathroom and kitchen, and in front of my flat, some old retired couple lives alone while their kids were working in US.
Dev called me and wants me to meet him. As I know nothing about Chandigarh, I asked him to come over to my flat.
He came zipping on his customized contessa. He seems to be cool, and I wondered why he wants to meet me?
He bought grilled chicken to eat and we started sharing our experiences. He kept on telling his experiences like he had an experience about Iraq war.
He didn’t talk about Ganesh, which makes me more wonder. He went after an hour telling that it’s great to be with you!

Chapter 10
That night was horrible, but Ganesh seems to be busy to prepare for his next exam. I can never understand his situation, but was curious to know more about it.
So, what’s next, Ganesh?
What Sid? Ganesh asked me in long boring tone.
I’m just wondering that how come our Director let you and Shyam go with warning? Oh Sid, now you want that he should give me some punishment or what?
Come on Dude, you know I’m concerned for you. Concerned? Eh man, I can see that, Ganesh nodded.
After a minute, Ganesh broke his silence and said that there was a deal between us.
What deal? Did he ask you for some favour or what?
Nothing man, just we both have to work in mess and to wash dishes for a week after exams.
I broke up in laughter and keep laughing for 5 continuous minute.
Don’t laugh Sid! You gonna be helping me.
What, no ways! I said.
As our exams got finished, I had to live with Ganesh as he got a task to do and off course its friendship after all.

She’s upset with what happened. But now we got some different situation.
What situation Ganesh?
Well from now, we will not make our affair public.

We all got our summer internship in good IT Company in Chandigarh.
Wow man that will be fun for sure!
I too got excited and almost forget everything I had planned in New Year resolution.
By the way, my New Year resolution was to get good CGPA, to get pretty girl friend for myself, gyming and blah blah blah and others which I forget on 2nd January.
I worked my ass off to get good CGPA but my second resolution was in trouble waters. The main problem for that is I almost got attracted to every pretty woman I know. I almost loved all the pretty girls in college, though we rarely got girls in Engineering, and they can be counted in fingers.
In college I rarely talk outside my friend circle, as I’m not introvert or unromantic, but the fact is that I didn’t found someone really cool. God, I got patience for that, dreaming to fulfil my second resolution and almost forget about other resolutions.
Man, only two days left, and then will move to Chandigarh for internship, I said as Ganesh was busy listening to the song “Zinda Ho” from film ZINDA.
Ganesh, this is the 108th time you are listening the song again and again. Don’t disturb Sid.
Now this is the new kind of torture he had invented. That day was the hell day in my entire life and would like to tell our police forces to use this kind of torture instead of breaking up the legs.
I was sure not to stay with Ganesh and would never ever like to fulfil my second resolution if this kind of torture I had to face.
Ganesh forced me to stay with him, but the size of his house is just equal to the size of our hostel room. I really don’t want to disturb his family though they will now going to face new kind of torture recently invented by Mr. Ganesh!

As exams came, I was scared like hell! Will we able to make it Ganesh, I asked him furiously.
Yeah bro, don’t take tension, you really worked your ass off! Ganesh motivated me in a good way. You also becoming a good motivator Ganesh, just like Dev, I told him!
Oh yeah, Sid! Well wait, have you bothered telling Dev about your relationship, Ganesh. I asked him. In a second his face becomes so reddish, like his blood had stopped flowing in his body.
What’s the matter Ganesh, seems to be some trouble with you?
Nothing like that, Sid! Oh, come on dude, you can tell me. I pressurized Ganesh to relieve everything he had in his heart. It’s always easy to take out his talks from his stomach, as it was really flat!
Sid, actually I feared telling this relation thing to Dev. He aint like girls. Oh well, what’s the matter Ganesh, you are in relation, not Dev. I explained Ganesh as we almost forget about our exams.
As our exams started, Shyam seems to be back in picture, this time in more aggressive way. Who says once storm pass by didn’t comes back, as when it’s a matter of a girl.
After our first exam gets over, Shyam was standing with his friends to receive Ganesh.
We got company Ganesh; I told him and skipped from the scene. I thought to call some of our class ganstas for help!
As I able to call some of our hommies, I saw Shyam trashing Ganesh. I immediately went to stop the fighting. It was really a tensed situation as we got our six papers left!
Come on Ganesh, what the hell are you doing? I asked Ganesh in anger. Shyam classmates were busy handling him and the situation becomes so tense, that we can get expelled for this nonsense anytime.
Ganesh, we are in middle of our career. College can take disciplinary action against us.
Fuck it Sid, today I will let Shyam face the music. As our classmates arrive on the scene, they seem to be handling situation quite professionally. Who says there shouldn’t be hooligans in the college!
I stepped back and started searching for Preeti. I thought she might be crying somewhere.
I called her on her cell but she didn’t pick up. I become nervous like hell, and thought to call her again. As she picked the phone, she started yelling out on me.

I’m at home, Sid. Let me study! What, I was shocked and can’t believe my ass for what she said.

Hell, it was two hours now. I was too scared and never wanted this to happen. I was praying to God to make everything fine.
As the case is quite sensitive, our director let them go after giving them last warning.
Ganesh seems to be quite irritated for what happened. He doesn’t seem to be ready for this.

The next day was bit tensed. Our exams were on our heads and we were working our ass off to get them cleared with good CGPA.
Ganesh seems to be a love bird! He’s now more bothered about Preeti than his studies.
He almost forgets playing Play Station and Gym. Hmm, love effects, I thought while completing my assignments for all subjects.
What’s the matter with you Ganesh, you aren’t seems to be bothered about assignments?
Don’t worry Sid, I’ll make it up. Now, I’m going with Preeti for hang out. Wait, I’ll also come, I shouted as I was more excited to see Romance in Air, LIVE!
We went to garden in the evening. All of us had 50 Rs in total for evening snacks. Poor we, I thought.

We returned from college after attending classes.
What a hectic schedule it was, I told Preeti and Ganesh. We all were sitting in a mess having our evening tea.
So you both guys are officially engaged, I asked Preeti and Ganesh in a hush! Just in front of you Sid, Ganesh explained in a long tune.
Before he can explain his situation, Shyam came with three other classmates. His entry was so dramatic that it seems to be some shooting of Hindi movie.

After exams, here comes the time to declare the result. I was scared like hell, as they were planning to hang me till death. My balls almost got squeezed to all time low, and all my hairs all across body were at 90 degrees. Heart beat become so fast that even professor can hear it!
Professor wrote highest lowest and average marks on board. Then he wrote the name of two guys with highest and lowest.
Thank God, I didn’t have the lowest, without caring about the person with highest marks!
Professor distributes the number all across class. I got 20 out of 30. Woow, I said in excitement without caring that Prof is still in class.

Chapter 4
Ganesh and I went with Dev to sector 17 for Gehri in the freezing cold. Thank God Dev had car, otherwise we almost got freezed in that chilly weather. Dev was doing his Engineering from PEC and is a good motivator.
He almost puffed 7 Cigarettes in record breaking 3 hours, which wondered me like anything. It becomes tough for me to resist, but gradually I became passive smoker in that 3 hours.
Fun it was, Dev told as he went after dropping us home. We made a plan for some Hollywood Movie the next day.

As our college gets over, me Ganesh and Preeti decided to went to CCD for some cappuccino with chocolate sauce. Preeti almost forget her dieting as it was her plan for 2 weeks only.
Nice date, nice coffee, nice cuisines, nice CCD. Woow, finally we are back, I screamed. Nobody listened me as I continue drinking my coffee. As we were about to leave, Shyam came with his friends and was shocked to see Preeti with us. His face became Pale yellow as someone has knocked his balls off.

It was very disgusting situation, I thought and saw Ganesh was also burning from inside and I slipped myself and Ganesh from there. Ganesh and I went with Dev to sector 17 for Gehri in the freezing cold. Thank God Dev had car, otherwise we almost got freezed in that chilly weather. Dev was doing his Engineering from PEC and is a good motivator.

Nice break Eh! Ganesh said, as we reached Chandigarh. The city seems to be so clean that even I’ll not hesitate to sleep on road! It seems that Indians don’t live here, I thought while Ganesh say Hi to his Mom and dad. I also greet Uncle/Aunt and went to Ganesh room.
Finally, we are at home! It seems that Ganesh came back home after long years.

Just hang for a second. I will consider myself Sid, because he’s side hero, so his role is limited. If I wrote I ....it means i’m talking through Sid prospective.
2003 – Chilly winters of December, I was coming from my home to hostel. Sorry not to introduce myself. I’m Sid, pursuing B.Tech from Thapar University, basically from Delhi. I’m in 2nd year, and worried about my CGPA. I just passed my last two semesters with poor CGPA. Sorry, I can’t tell you about it. It’s not fair!
I’m a social person having lots of friends, even can’t remember. My orkut account takes care about it. Its 7 am in the Monday morning and I have to attend my class of the most dangerous professor in this univ. The road is so bumpy that it can wake you up no matter what!
Damn, I missed my Delux bus because of 10 minutes, Preeti. What, you are scolding me? Oh no, I’m just saying for sake of it. Don’t get uneasy so easily Preeti, I said thinking that how tough it can be handling women.
She said something and paused....
I said what? She said forget it, as she’s totally confused by herself only. She broke into tears immediately without any reason. I thought I have said something...
I remembered all my lines said to her, but could not figure out the exact reason.

As the class over, Ganesh gave me his notebook and ran towards door shouting that he’s going to meet Preeti. Man, I have never seen such a friend, I thought, Preeti’s lucky!
Just hang for a second. I will consider myself Sid, because he’s side hero, so his role is limited. If I wrote I ....it means i’m talking through Sid prospective.
2003 – Chilly winters of December, I was coming from my home to hostel. Sorry not to introduce myself. I’m Sid, pursuing B.Tech from Thapar University, basically from Delhi. I’m in 2nd year, and worried about my CGPA. I just passed my last two semesters with poor CGPA. Sorry, I can’t tell you about it. It’s not fair!
I’m a social person having lots of friends, even can’t remember. My orkut account takes care about it. Its 7 am in the Monday morning and I have to attend my class of the most dangerous professor in this univ. The road is so bumpy that it can wake you up no matter what!
Damn, I missed my Delux bus because of 10 minutes, Preeti. What, you are scolding me? Oh no, I’m just saying for sake of it. Don’t get uneasy so easily Preeti, I said thinking that how tough it can be handling women.
She said something and paused....
I said what? She said forget it, as she’s totally confused by herself only. She broke into tears immediately without any reason. I thought I have said something...
I remembered all my lines said to her, but could not figure out the exact reason.
What happened Preeti? I said, and my voice trembles. She said nothing and again started crying so loudly, that even conductor got conscious and gave me a skeptical look. I was in hurry because I have to take on the professor and my CGPA sucks big time.
We reached Thapar just on time. Preeti decided to bunk first lecture as her make-up spoiled because of tears. I went into class and say hi to Ganesh.
You are late again Sid, Ganesh told in firm tone. I said there’s some issue with Preeti. She started crying in the bus without any fight or something.
She might be upset with Shyam. Hmmm, looks like Shyam didn’t bother her. Na, he didn’t. (Shyam is Preeti’s Boyfriend and was senior).
How foolish a person can be, a girl with size zero, beautiful curves and with all the qualities, I thought in mind while turning the pages of my notebook.
So, you think Shyam loves preeti, I asked Ganesh? Well, may be, may be not? Hmmm, now this is diplomatic answer Ganesh.

A New Starting
Howdy Guys....
Now, I'm going to write some stories constructed from my mind. These are neither being inspired by anybody's life, nor being inspired by any novel or movies. Just a junk of creativity of my mind...I hope, you'll love to add something from here.....So, here we go;
It's a story being started in the year 2009....Don't worry, We'll go back to some years, and my story will definitely be in some chapters...So, be patient....
